Terms and Conditions

Policies

Booking with The Blue Water Motel direct or through any third-party booking platform signifies you will abide by the current Blue Water Motel terms & conditions.

Reservations are only confirmed when full payment has been made, and a valid credit card is on file for the duration of the stay. The Blue Water Motel reserves the right to cancel any reservations where credit cards are invalid, declined, or payments have not been paid in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Payment

NON PEAK PERIODS

Full payment is collected 48 hours before arrival. Please note additional policies listed below for long stays, multiple room bookings and key dates.

PEAK PERIODS

Peak Periods are all Public holidays, long weekends and all school holidays.

Full payment is collected 7 days prior to your arrival.

FESTIVALS

Festivals are Bluesfest, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival.

Full payment is collected 30 days before your arrival.

LONG STAYS (4 nights or more)

Long Stay is a reservation of 4 nights or more.

Full Payment is collected 7 days prior to your arrival.

GROUPS (3 rooms or more) – APPROVAL REQUIRED

Group Booking is a reservation of 3 or more rooms.

Group bookings must have prior approval. Approved bookings require; 10% deposit at the time of booking, 50% deposit is collected 1 month prior and Payment in full is collected 7 days before arrival. A 1-month cancellation policy applies, which means no refunds or date changes will be given within one month of arrival.

Cancellations

Any cancellations or modifications made inside payment windows results in forfeit of the total amount of the stay (refer to payment policies listed above for applicable payment windows for your stay). Applies also to no shows.

Credit Cards

Accepted credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX. A 2% surcharge will apply to Amex.

Identification

A current driver’s licence or passport, or other government issued ID must be presented upon check-in.

Rates

Rates are subject to change.

Check-In/out

Check-in time is from 2pm
Check-out time is 10am
Early check-ins/late check-outs are subject to availability & must be arranged before arrival. Fees apply.

NO SMOKING

In accordance with NSW legislation, The Blue Water Motel is a 100% smoke free property. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises. A $200 penalty will apply to smoke-affected rooms, and the credit card on file will be charged.

No Party Policy

The Blue Water Motel has a strict no-party policy. For the consideration of other guests, disruptive noise, excessive drinking, or large gatherings will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to evict any guest or group displaying anti-social behaviour with no refunds considered.

The Blue Water Beach House is situated in a peaceful residential area. To ensure that the tranquil environment is preserved, we strictly prohibit parties. This means that, in compliance with state regulations, the maximum number of guests allowed on the property is 8 at any given time, and no noise is permitted outside after 10 pm.

Maximum Occupancy

In accordance with law and fire safety regulations, only the maximum designated number of occupants per room is permitted. Sleeping on the floor is strictly prohibited, and additional people will be asked to leave.

Refusal of Entry

Management reserves the right to refuse entry based on prior behaviour or eviction from other accommodation providers.

Age Policy

Only guests 18 or over are permitted to reserve accommodation. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Blue Water Motel does not accept Schoolies bookings, and proof of age will be requested at check-in.

Location Hire / Commercial photography

Commercial photography or filming is not permitted without Management approval.

The Blue Water Motel is open for location hire at request. All enquiries must be submitted in advance to management and terms negotiated before arrival.

Pets

We allow pets (1 dog per room only) on our property, but only if you have made a direct booking with us and added the Pet Fee to your reservation prior to your stay. A $50 per stay Pet Fee applies. If you bring a pet with you and have not paid the pet fee in advance, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund. Additionally, please note that you are responsible for supervising your pet at all times and it should not be left unattended in the room.

Lost Property

The Blue Water Motel assumes no responsibility for lost property. Items found after departure will be held for one week and then donated to charity. A minimum fee of $20 will be charged to return items.

Additional charges

Additional charges will be applied to the credit card on file for the following; breakages, damage to the property/bikes, missing items, late departure, lost keys and extra cleaning.

Changes to the Service

The Blue Water Motel reserves the right to change or modify the booking, products, rates, services, and terms described at any time without notice and without liability.
